Spiderman India

Spider-Man: India is a comic book originally published in India by Gotham Entertainment Group in 2004, retelling the story of Marvel Comics' Spider-Man in an Indian setting. It ran for four issues, which were later also published in the United States in 2005 and collected into a trade paperback.

PLOT: Pavitr Prabhakar, a poor Indian boy, lives in a village and moves to Mumbai with his aunt Maya and uncle Bhim to study after getting half a scholarship. His parents died some years ago. Other boys at the school tease him and beat him. He knows his uncle Bhim is struggling to support him and his aunt Maya, and pay the school. Only Meera, a girl from school, befriends him. Meanwhile, Nalin Oberoi, a local crime lord, uses an amulet to perform an ancient ritual, where he gets possessed by a demon committed to opening the gate for other demons to get back to Earth. While being chased by other kids, Pavitr encounters an ancient god who gives him the power of a spider, to fight the evil that threatens the world. While discovering his powers, Pavitr refuses to help a woman being attacked by several men. He leaves the place, but comes back when he hears his uncle cry, who was stabbed when he tried to help the woman. Thus Pavitr understands that with great power comes great responsibility.Next, Nalin Oberoi becomes human again, transforms his doctor into Doctor Octopus (without the usual mechanical arms), and sends him to kill Spider-Man, as instructed by the demon voices. Doc Ock fails, and Spider-Man makes it to the newspapers, where he is deemed a threat.Oberoi kidnaps Pavitr's aunt, taking her to a refinery outside Mumbai. There he betrays Doctor Octopus, blasting him away with a ray. Spider-Man arrives and fights Oberoi, who has also kidnapped Meera. He lets both aunt Maya and Meera fall. Spider-Man dives for his aunt, but then fails to rescue Meera, who is saved by Doctor Octopus, that is just coming back to exact revenge on Oberoi. Pavitr reveals his identity to Meera and asks her to take his aunt away.Oberoi gets rid of Doctor Octopus for good, and touches Spider-Man with the amulet. A Venom-like creature tries to take Spider-Man to the dark side, but he remembers his uncle and rejects the evil. By doing it, the link between the demons and Oberoi is shattered, and he becomes human again.Everything goes back to normal, Spider-Man gets the girl, and celebrates the Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights, with his aunt

A man’s quest begins with a boy’s test.In a world that has moved on, young Roland Deschain will one day be known as the Gunslinger-but for now, he is merely a boy on the cusp of manhood. For years, his fate has been manipulated by the sorcerer known as Marten Broadcloak, who serves the Crimson King-an immortal shape-shifter living only to destroy the legendary Dark Tower: the axis of creation upon which all worlds revolve. And for the Crimson King’s plans to succeed, Roland must be destroyed.Roland and his friends, Alain and Cuthbert, uncover a plot by the evil John Farson (also a servant of the Crimson King) to destroy the Affiliation, the network that unites the world’s baronies and maintains an uneasy peace. But Roland has another mission on his mind-winning the heart of the beautiful Susan Delgado, who he met in Hambry, and who holds a secret of unspeakable horror...For Roland, these are only the first steps on the road to the Dark Tower, where he will learn the true nature of his quest, and, perhaps, the secrets of existence itself.

World War Hulk

World War Hulk was a 2007 comic book crossover storyline published by Marvel Comics and starring the Hulk.[1] The series is composed of five main issues titled World War Hulk, with Greg Pak as writer and John Romita, Jr. as penciller, and three other limited series: World War Hulk: Frontline, World War Hulk: Gamma Corps, and World War Hulk: X-Men. It also ran through several extant Marvel comics series. The plot is the culmination of a series of events that began with the Hulk being tricked into being sent into space by the Illuminati and a life model decoy of Nick Fury, the Hulk's subsequent exile seen in Planet Hulk and his imminent return to Earth to seek revenge on the Illuminati.Blaming The Illuminati for the explosion of a space vessel they had constructed, leading to the deaths of his wife, his unborn child and millions of inhabitants of the planet Sakaar, the Hulk, stronger than ever due to his rage, as well as the radiation from the warp core explosion, and his allies, the Warbound, come to Earth intent on revenge. First stopping at the moon, the Hulk defeats Illuminatus Black Bolt. The Hulk proceeds to Manhattan, New York City, where he demands the presence of the Illuminati and that the city be evacuated. He travels to the nearby X-Mansion, home of the X-Men, where Illuminatus Professor Xavier, absent from the decision to send the Hulk off-planet, admits he would have agreed to that but not to permanent exile. The Hulk defeats several teams of X-Men,[6] and battles the Juggernaut, but leaves after learning of the mutant population's heavy losses during M-Day. When the Hulk returns to Manhattan, the superhuman-operative team Gamma Corps battles him, but the Hulk convinces them they follow a false cause.

Amazing Spiderman

The Amazing Spider-Man is an American comic book series published by Marvel Comics, and additionally a spin-off television program and a daily newspaper comic strip, all featuring the adventures of the superhero Spider-Man.

Spider-Man first appeared in the comic book Amazing Fantasy #15 (Aug. 1962). The series was cancelled with that issue, but response to the character was so positive that a solo title, The Amazing Spider-Man, was launched with a March 1963 cover-date.
The character was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and artist and co-plotter Steve Ditko, and the pair produced 38 issues from 1963 to 1966. Since then, many writers and artists have taken over the monthly comic through the years, chronicling the adventures of Marvel's most identifiable hero.
The Amazing Spider-Man is the character's flagship series. Most of the major characters and villains of the Spider-Man saga have been introduced here, and it is where key events occur. The title was published continuously until 1998 when Marvel Comics relaunched it with a new issue #1 (Jan. 1999), but on Spider-Man's 40th anniversary, this new title reverted to using the numbering of the original series, beginning again with issue #500 (Dec. 2003), and is currently published three times a month as part of Marvel's "Brand New Day" event.
